Sag Harbor Elementary students in grades 2-5 have been embarking on a checkers tournament during their lunch period. The game, which encourages strategic problem-solving, concentration and memory recall, and patience and persistence, has been a favorite amongst the students as they’ve played against their peers in a friendly and fun competition.
