The Pierson High School theater students successfully performed “Little Women” a musical by Kate Hamill for their 2023-2024 high school play. The play was an adaptation of the novel by Louisa May Alcott and starred four sisters in a coming-of-age story set during the Civil War.
With four successful performances and a few double castings, the theater students showed dedication and fluency as the actors and contributing production team worked together in unison. “The great thing about this year was that I got to work with some returning students – students who have been in theater since sixth grade – and some new students,” said Melissa Luppi, producer of the play.
