The Pierson Robotics Team, Team 28, competed at the FIRST Long Island Regional #1 event at Hofstra University, where they were presented with the prestigious Impact Award and earned a spot at the international 2023 FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, in April.
The Impact Award recognizes the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. Three Southampton students were able to share their interests and talents with the 35-student-strong Pierson Robotics Team.
Congratulations to the members of FRC Team 28 for their teamwork and a job well done. Best of luck in Houston.
