Dear Pierson Middle/High School Families: We had a great first week of school last week! We will be offering parent workshops throughout the year to assist families in navigating the various school platforms. On Thursday, September 15, and Monday, September 19, we will be holding two parent workshops to help users with Eschool and Google Classroom. Thursday, September 15 at 11:00 am Pierson Library Eschool Data (Parent Portal) Workshop Monday, September 19 at 11:00 am Pierson Library Google Classroom Workshop We ask families participating in these workshops to bring their login information. Dear 8th Grade Parents, There were not enough students signed up for the 8th grade trip to the Pocono Environmental Education Center to hire the 2 coach buses that I anticipated. I have narrowed the trip to one bus and there are 12 seats available on that bus for your child to attend if they would like. The deadline to sign up for the trip has long since passed but PEEC says I can send them the final number on Monday. This means that I can accept permission slips until Friday Morning, period one. Follow the link below for more information about PEEC and their programs. We will also be doing a 1/2 day rafting trip and swimming in the river. Your child will need board shorts and a rash guard for this activity. If any parent wishes to donate marshmallows, gram crackers and hershey bars, we will have a campfire both nights for your children. Two weeks before we leave for the trip, I will send another sheet home asking for emergency contact information and allergy needs. This document will need to be completed. We invite you to attend Pierson Student Council's Movie Night tonight, Friday, May 6 at 7:00 pm in Pierson Auditorium. The cost is $5 for ages 3 and up! This event was originally scheduled to be outside on Pierson Hill. However due to weather we are moving the event to the Auditorium. We will be watching Surf's Up! Hope you can come.
