Pierson Senior, Sarah D'Angelo, was awarded the Good Citizen Award from The Daughters of the American Revolution Southampton Colony Chapter. The Good Citizen Award recognizes high school seniors who demonstrate qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and community. D’Angelo is a volunteer tutor and a regular volunteer at the Sag Harbor Food Pantry. She writes articles for the school newspaper and has served as a member of the Retreat Teen Leadership Program. D’Angelo is an academic standout and has already been accepted to several colleges.
