Grading System
The marking system is based on numerical grades. Cumulative GPA and Rank are calculated using weighted grades. NYS Regents level courses are given a weight of 1.05 after the required exam is passed. Advanced Placement Courses are given a weight of 1.1 once all required examinations are challenged. Grade weighting does not change the grade in the course, only the value in determining the cumulative GPA and Rank.
